About Our Farm

Hidden Creek Farms traces its agricultural roots back nearly 50 years. The journey began when Larry Moody graduated from Parkland College in Champaign, Illinois, with a degree in Agricultural Production in 1973. He then moved to Saybrook, Illinois, to begin a small hog operation. Soon after that, he was hired by a DeWitt County landowner to be the lead farmhand on a grain and livestock operation.

After many years and a few land purchases, Hidden Creek Farms began its own journey in 2010. Larry’s son Chris graduated from Eastern Illinois University in 2006 and returned to the farm. He began a small trucking business, Team Moody, Inc., to ease into the farming operation. Today the operation consists of many acres throughout throughout DeWitt, McLean, and Piatt Counties.
